Everything that doesn’t change stays the same

I’ve been learning from my triggers- the “doing well” trigger- once I’ve been doing well for a while, even a day, I brag or try to reaffirm that my decision was good. This time it’s the decision to quit smoking. It’s been over two weeks now, and for every time I’ve mentioned I quit, I’ve picked up the death stick again. Def never brag about or take back your decision, move forward, take ownership if accused of the heroic deed but don’t tell. Never tell. Be a non smoker from this day forth. Make new good and boring habits.
